There are certain things that are needed to be taken care of very efficiently during child development. Failing to do so, you fail to provide proper parenting to your child. Listed below are some of the important aspects:

Respect every stage of child development- Every stage of child development is equally important and lack of commitment or slight careless behavior from parents can spoil their development. Parents must change their strategies for every stage in child development.

Fit discipline into the state of development of your child- Toddlers may easily be diverted without much fanfare, while older children might need a time out or some other form of discipline to get them to stop doing what there are doing. Doing perfect parenting, figure out efficiently as to what works out best for each stage of child’s development for better results.

Choose fitting discipline for the child- All one needs to do is shake one’s head at my son in disapproval and he would immediately burst into tears and stop doing what he is doing. But the same does not apply to my daughter who rarely cares about what you feel. So, can I apply the same style of discipline to both of them? Definitely not, every child is different and needs to be handled differently even if they live in the same house.

Be a role model for your child and a good one- This is simple and well known fact that children tend to do what they see others doing, specially what their parents do. So, show your children what you want to see from them. This is the key to proper parenting.
