The local cisco repair company was running a special for their current clients. I had used them once before to purchase some used cisco products to install myself. I was glad that they remembered me and sent me the offer since I was in desperate need of someone to fix the used cisco router that I had put in about six months ago.

This particular used cisco router was not among the products that I got from the cisco repair company though, so I did not feel like they should fix it for free. I had actually found it at a swap meet for twenty dollars lying in the bottom of a dirty box. I am not sure that the people who sold it to me knew what it was since they sold it for so cheap.

When I bragged to the other people in the office about getting such a great deal on the used cisco router, they all laughed and said that it probably would not even last a week. They were obviously wrong and off by five months and three weeks. That is okay, even if the cisco repair company cannot fix it, it lasted long enough for the amount I gave for it.
