I was told about an online shop that sells reconditioned Used xSeries parts. I was doubtful at first because I know that the xSeries is not so common, and that reconditioning its parts will be very difficult. I checked the online site myself at work one day. At first, I wasn’t able to find any, and so I thought that maybe, like what I suspected, it was a prank. However, my officemates still talk about this famous online shop, and so I looked for it again. That time, I was able to finally find it. And I can say that I was very impressed myself. Although, I still question the efficiency of the products they refurbish.

When we had some server problems at work, my officemates knew exactly who to call. I was very excited to prove my theory that these reconditioned xseries parts do not really work well. When the day finally came, it was me who was proven wrong.  The IBM xSeries Servers we ordered did work really well like it weren’t used before at all. I was really amazed; actually, I was more than amazed. Now, I learned that first impressions and assumptions do not last sometimes.
